they will tone down the shoulders until it looks mundane, reduce the C-pillar until there is better visibility, reduce the quality of the paint until it’s just not that brilliant, remove all the little details and flicks which make it interesting, and put some big mirrors on it. Then, we’ll just say.. oh, a

it’s barely different from a normal 911.. and it’s still turbo. and it’s not much cheaper. pointless marketing exercise

funny, somehow all i saw was the lotus esprit

im a multiple porsche owner, starting with a 365c in high school i fixed up, to many more along the way. Lots of track time, i love the brand.. but the driving enjoyment from my spyder means everything to me.. and the sound and power delivery are a huge part of that. Guess that makes me a poseur?

used gt4 and spyder prices will still remain high.. porsche is down 30+% YOY with the 4-cyl 718 series. you can gaslight customers as much as you want with marketing, letting them know all the perceived improvements. but when you drive a 6 cyl NA and then you even just hear one of these 718 subaru-ized porsches.. you

#metoo (meaning i also was confused by the car/tool thing)

what if your name isn’t Daniel?.. severely limits the potential buyer’s pool no?

yea, because this is as common in racing as peeing on your opponent is in golf.

and this is why F1 is boring. just give hamilton a foam bat so he can bop people on the helmet when he passes. give vettel banana peels he can drop.. take it from there mario

my very favorite piece.. is the fake front hood scoop. that’s just wink wink fake trolling “hey look we tried to pretend it was front engined”

uhm.. i actually like it. as in, if i had kids.. i’d buy it.

This is nothing more than a real-life reenactment of a real event which happened a few decades ago.. but maybe i’m the only one old enough to remember. Now tell me if Cruella’s car doesn’t look just like that Nissan?

i must be the only old dude here.. but this race was little more than a re-enactment of this real-life event which happened a few decades ago.

does it work with tinted or mirrored sunglasses? because the intended buyer will be wearing some knarly ones...

if out loud in a frantic voice, and on a plane.. yes, i’d say that i’d fall prey to imagining certain scenarios first. i’m not racist.. just a logical human who can only think on the basis of experiences accumulated in a lifetime and base his responses on that.

no expense for feasibility testing.. but lots of other issues associated with it, including losing your allocation. it’s a really crappy process, ask me how I know (don’t ask me, it was sarcasm). just take my word for it, i’m on the internet

the NSX is undesirable at it’s MSRP, it’s that simple.

wait, is this a doug demuro article on quirks?.. does he know someone else has copied his style of obsessively focusing on quirks?

the part which is toughest to swallow, is that really.. when it comes to the presidency, there is nothing we can do about “disgraceful”.. there is barely anything we can do about “criminal”..

the phase one cars were front-back swapping demons.. almost untameable. the phase II cars handled really nicely. this being a phase 1 car, i wouldn’t touch it for half that price. if it were a phase 2, i would touch it for half that price.
