i was really hoping for a car with the beautiful nose cone from the concept... something curvy and truly beautiful. nice job with the render guys.. but the proportions from the prototype under camo look really boring, to the point that the details may not really matter that much.

go ahead.. find the specs to remove the gtr’s center bolt. Then, go check if the detailer had these on hand. (I’m telling you, cause uhm.. I know this car and owner.. the tool kit was across the pond)

as an example, try finding a wheel store which can remove the wheels off of a lowly 991 gt3.. and you’ll see you have to go to a porsche dealer for the correct tools and supplies. the manual for this car is stored at it’s home.. as is the huge toolbox for it.

no yellow pants, no f1 gtr. it’s a rule.

I posted some pics of the car from close up (and inside) elsewhere in the comments.. can’t even find my post now but if you want to see how good of a job they did the pics should give you an idea. i was actually impressed considering it was a racecar with actual history.

removing the wheels takes special tools, and a special grease, + torque wrench. they did everything which could be done with nuts and bolts.. this car came over from europe shortly after purchase just for the Quail with a lot of dirt/rubber smears on it. it was prepped just to look good for quail, but it went right…

I could tell you the story about how what happened with this very car.. but then I’d have to kill you.
