Wow, there is a lot of bullshit here! Most seem to do with power claims.
Some rather crazy engines out there, but one I keep remembering is the Ford T-drive. A transversely mounted straight eight in a front wheel drive vehicle, possible due to the transmission placed underneath the engine and taking power from the center.
