It isn’t already a Lambo?
It isn’t already a Lambo?
I was wondering the same.
Sam Walton would be appalled with A LOT that has happened to Walmart since he cashed in his chips 25 years ago.
+1
I think you forgot the word “again,” as they last time they tried to leave, a shitload of people died stopping them.
I agree that flying the Confederate flag is literally espousing support for the enemies of the United States.
I live in Vermont, the only state in the Northeast to be attacked by the confederacy (Confederate raiders/bank robbers came down across the border from Canada for a brief attack), the state that took a higher…
I, too, remember the Walmart of the Sam Walton years. His kids clearly have not followed his lessons in terms of taking care of the employees. Back in the day, little old ladies in the Midwest stocking shelves had stock options that made them relatively wealthy when they hung up their blue smocks for the last time.…
I swear that the asshole who invented that “safety” feature of locking the doors when the car gets into “D” to protect your kids or something doesn’t have any kids. That self-locking shit causes me to curse more than most things in life. And most things in life make me fucking curse.
But why the stupid little square screen between the gauges? From the first A4 sold in the U.S. in 1996, that screen has made me crazy. Why, oh why, would you want to push the two most important gauges—speed and tach—off to the sides. Keep that shit central, where the driver needs it. All of that other info (clock?…
Thanks for the source. I love this sort of thing. But...I think you may have inferred too much from those numbers.
They did exactly that. When the S40 and V50 first came out, Volvo touted that the interior was designed by an all-female team and that center section was inspired by a remote.
Forget the keypad numbers (which I never used), but the four buttons for volume, tuning, fan speed and temperature are all that were needed and…
Having lived with a V50 and its nearly identical interior for three years, all I can say is that Volvo made this one right. Compare it to any modern entry-level Euro luxury sedan today, what with the tacked-on iPad on the dash and you will yearn for the far more simplistic and functional C30/S40/V50 interior.
Do you have access to Ford numbers or something? Truly curious, because I have seen them in plenty of places around the country since the first deliveries last year. Florida, California (as you mention), New England, the Carolinas, and so forth. And, beyond New England, most of those other places were for short…
Hahaaaa!!!! Yes, the risk/reward calculation of taking on “wife-grief” to swap out a 2016 on a 2018 seems like a very low possibility of a positive outcome on my part. In fact, if I even approached the idea, I am pretty sure it would be a significant marriage-limiting move on my part. Race red sure looks purty,…
EDIT: Were you talking about GLA or RS?
They were sold all over. Initial dealer allocations were thin, based on limited production capacity at Saarlouis, so Ford wanted to make sure cars were available everywhere, but that no dealer hoarded too many of them.
I ordered mine in April, 2016, which most dealers told me was…
True. To properly keep a Mercedes-Benz V-12 on the road, you need about 10 of them. And a whole lot of cash.
How about two used CL65s for some Civic Type R money?
Lord knows, you will need the parts car.
How can anyone say they are “OK” with Bernie who considers Putin a good friend?
But did any of those 4,500 shells actually destroy or at least damage any targets of significant value? Without any collateral damage? That’s a whole lot of money to be spending, moving the Marines into theater, protecting them, supplying then and then replenishing those stocks of materiel.
In other words, someone…
And the drivers will flock to them, not the speculative collectors. That was my though exactly reading this article.
