It is on custom ROMs on android, and (I think) On AOSP android. Some OEMs also implement them in their skins.

Give it a chance! Plus, this is a positive side actually. It means devs will get off their asses and start promoting/improving HTML5 on their sites. FINALLY.

Valid point, I thought so too. But as bejank says, you could just add an asterisk or some form of notation so that you know it's a changed word. But in general, this is meant for those annoying abbreviations (or swear words) and those aren't generally too problematic.

It would! But I suppose they're releasing this to feel out the crowd; seeing if it gets a lot of downloads or if it's mostly ignored.

Very likely because it will come at the cost of battery life. Keeping it in existence as an addon will allow people to choose which they'd prefer, longer-lasting battery or better performance.

My problem is actually exactly the reverse it :P if I type stuff out my mind is on par, they're in sync. If I'm writing, I end up losing track of where I was because my train of thought has basically completely ditched what I'm actually writing at the time. A BIG pain in the ass during exam time.

Anytime, hahaha. Oddly enough, they've updated their chinese version of the app to work but the english one is still being a pain. There are a few translated ports, but I don't feel as safe downloading those; especially since they're root apps being allowed full access.
