Google Maps is progressing towards doing this, now. I've no idea if Navigation works efficiently in the downloaded (cached*) maps, but i do know that it's meant to. So, if not immediately, GMaps is headed in the right direction.

You can't change it easily would be more appropriate. It CAN be changed in the about:config page.
The ONLY word Swype does that to me with EVERY single time, is "too". NO idea why. I get "top" almost every single time.
To be fair, suppress doesn't necessarily mean delete :)
He didn't mean you can't, he meant that 100%, which is what they said, is used wrongly. 100% means that the speed is currently same. Unchanged. 200%, on the other hand, would be double.

That just looks like a tweaked home screen. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that looks simple enough that you could pull it off on pretty much any of these launchers :)

What about Android browsers? Now that there's some actual competition in the ring, why not do one of these tests on some like the Chrome beta, Opera and Dolphin HD? Maybe Firefox Mobile too? It would be fantastic if it was done, and lifehacker has always done it best, in my experience.
