Flipped my TJ on its side and dented the head gasket, flipped it on all fours and started right up and ran like a champ, and then ran another 90k + with zero issues outside normal maintenance.

Completely agree. They are built like tanks and can take a beating before even showing signs of giving up.

The VQ35 engine is very reliable and doesn't require much reinforcement up to 400hp but I hear that after that really can expect to invest a decent chunk of change to make sure it runs Right. Gas mileage is so so, usually around 20mpg combined but depends on how heavy your foot is. If you catch my drift.

I love the car, mines an 05 and haven't had any major mechanical issues. Looks great drives great and you can find them pretty reasonably priced

I wonder if this will have any effect on older models. I drive the more civilized G35 and love both vehicles. Styling drivability etc. But seriously great price for a fantastic vehicle. Nice Price.
