I have seen so many warped framings and warped takes on this today.

I’m sure she didn’t want the innocent affected, but the projected $21 billion loss from COVID at the parks and the whack ass roll-out and grifting of Disney+ had me thinking she pulled this in her last meeting with The Mouse House.

I hope when she went into the last negotiation meeting before leaving, that she named every person involved in the tix scandal: from the ticket-taker at the park, that team leader, and every manager who didn’t give her what she asked for on up to the guy who made that comment as the explicit reasons why she left. How many white Quiver-full executives’ families have gotten multiple tix and encountered this much trouble taking advantage of free shit! Ever?! And how many levels of people would have just let it go...if the people presenting the free tix had been white?!

Had Ms. Shonda been a white male that made them less than 10M, I do believe heads would have rolled.

As someone who has worked in environments like Disney/ABC, I can definitely understand it. What people don’t understand is that working in that kind of corporate environment is basically like having to endure thousands of papercuts every day, only to shut up and do it the next. At some point, you get so sick and tired…

She was talking to DISNEY. They definitely had it, and don't anymore.

Shonda ran from ABC to Netflix while Michaela Coel ran from Netflix to HBO. We ain’t with the shits anymore.
