It must suck to go around pants-pissingly scared all the time. Racists are a bunch of fucking pussies.

Yay!! Thank YOU for the conversation!

^^^ this.

THANK YOU, I was going to point this out but saw this first :)

Which is NOT AT ALL to take away from the thousands upon thousands of amazing, courageous aid workers all over the world who are laboring tirelessly to make it a better place for everyone. Huge respect to all of them.

I was firmly on your side of things, and suspicious of celebrities in general, but then I was researching a story about the kids coming to the southern US border asking for asylum (I’m a reporter specializing in border and immigration work) which led me to a group called Kids in Need of Defense, or KIND, which - as it

I’m so, so sorry that this happened to you. How awful, and what a terrible way to double down on your sense of loss of autonomy. <3

same. But if I stop drinking for a week or two my skin looks good again so fuck it!

She also believed 9/11 was an inside job and that she was vastly more intelligent than everyone around her.

San Diego Zoo. But they hide this! I didn’t even know about it until a zoo worker tipped me off. I guess I looked thirsty.

San Diego Zoo! I highly recommend it. But don’t go too often, because if you do, the people who go watch the gorillas regularly while drinking beer will start to greet you by name and then you’ll realize you’re one of them.

I actually had a zoo membership for a while (no kids) because I discovered that you could buy cheap 32-oz cups of craft beer at this hidden-away place next to the gorilla exhibit and drink it while you watched them.

Although these stories unnerve me, I also love them and find them really comforting. “There are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in our philosophy.” I love the idea that we have only scratched the surface of understanding the universe around us, and that we have so much more to discover.

S A M E. I wonder, too, if me being super tired hadn’t been my radar going off. It was 20 years ago now. By the way, here’s Ramon’s Murderpedia entry. http://murderpedia.org/male.R/r/roger…

Okay, and now I have a paranormal story. Not mine, though. There was a terrible train crash in Los Angeles, where I lived and worked as a reporter at the time. I think 25 people died. (I just went and looked it up: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_Chat… - 25 people died.) I saw the aftermath. It was terrible.

I have a story! Not paranormal.

You had all that time to read over what I said, and you didn’t even understand it. Man, that is sad. :(

Hahahaha, I am a writer and it’s becoming harder and harder to write except for pay. I think that’s more because I am a freelancer who gets paid per story, though. Every word I write for free is another morsel of food snatched from my mouth.

I, uh, got nothing. Wow these are some dumb people.
