I didn’t know about this game until I watched the anime Hi-Score Girl. I miss Data East. I played so many games by that company back in the day.
That “3D blur” you’re talking about was a deliberate artistic decision. It was them trying to mimic the color separation that you used to see in older comic books back in the day. To me it works with the whole animated comic book feel that they were going for.
PSN had the deluxe edition for $10 this past Black Friday. Needless to say I yoinked that up quick.
But keep that whataboutism cloaked in concern trolling rolling along. It’s a good look.
Amazon has the same deal right now as well, minus the $10 off for new customers.

LOL OMG you’re right!
Dude’s costume was on point. The flag tshirt and the ripped blue jeans, he went to Halloween as an entitled American. He really got into character too with the whole disrespecting the cop and nothing happening to him.
Hell if they were just using regular leather, I’d bet the production cost of the jackets themselves is far less than $500
That’s exactly what they remind me of as well. When I was a kid I used to have one of those video game wrist watches that also transformed into a little robot. I thought it was cool back in the day. I guess that’s the demographic that these BotBots are aimed at?
True but I’ve seen cosplayers who have bought clothing or items that were company manufactured. Obviously the hardcore cosplayers would make it themselves. I wasn’t referring to them in my original statement. I should’ve been more specific.
Why doesn’t Capcom just link up with some clothing company that will mass produce those jackets and just sell them that way? I mean I get that these ultra expensive Collectors Addictions (See what I did there?) are a novelty thing, but I could see more people willing to pay $500-$1000 dollars for just the jackets by…
I never said I’d opt out of the game completely. I would just not be in a huge rush to play it.
How microtransactions will be handled in RDR2 is the huge deciding factor on whether or not I buy this game. If things end up being super grindy for the expressed purpose of getting me to give in and buy Shark Cards, then I’m out. I’ll wait till the game gets cheap and play it for the story.
Damn I wish I thought to write this in my original post.
That game was fun when I played it. If the Tinder, and Bumble DLCs had been available back when I played The Trial of Isolation, I’d have had even more fun. Hell I might have never stopped playing.
For cosplay purposes
