I agree. Its a good example of Form following function.

Its not a shortcut playing with the character you spent time grinding to level up. You can still play the game and have fun. Hell it's more fun playing with a leveled up character in GTAO. You have way more options and weapons available to you, as well as more missions.

That's not what I mean. It doesn't help a franchise/IP when you have a large number of fans that just say yes to everything regardless of if that something is of good quality or not. You'll hear/read their comments as: "Well at least we're getting something.", or: "I don't like ____ but I'm going to buy it anyway." …

I know. That's why I only mentioned the old weekday cartoon series and not the SatAM series (Absolutely loved that series) I still watch it from time to time on Netflix.

Eggman/Robotnik has always been like that. Remember the old weekday cartoon series? Dr. Eggnik was basically just there to have his plans foiled and be the punchline for Sonic's mischievous behavior.
