Good interview, but an interview with Rebecca Sugar would have been good too - we could have found out what the inspiration for the character was, what Sugar thought about when she wrote the songs in “I Remember You”, things like that.

Just did a quick wikiped search and it looks like Star Trek canon is/was a big mess that boils down to “stuff Roddenbery liked”.

First Contact is a really good movie...Star Trek or not. Definitely better than STV.

I don’t understand why Nemesis is such a punching bag. It’s not a great movie, but it has its charms. I’d say Nemesis and Final Frontier are about equal, all things considered.
