#1 for the win. Now I know exactly what I’m getting my faunal obsessed former MA supervisor.

Starred for releasing the Kraken.

My buddies and I hold a Beers of the World tasting every Remembrance Day Weekend, and this is exactly how we set it up.

Don’t misunderstand me, I wouldn’t just replace them for no functional reason. My place was built in the early 80’s. I’m sure plastic piping has come a long way since then, but I’ve had multiple high pressure leaks every year in the 6 years I’ve owned the place.

In 50 years of owning a home my parents have never had copper pipe spring pinprick size leaks. Now that plastic shit? I’ve owned my own place for 6 years, and I’ve had around 3-5 of these little high pressure leaks every year. Maybe copper isn’t the greatest, but it’s all that I can personally compare to.

My top kitchen reno (okay, more like whole house reno), providing I have the time, money, and wherewithal to complete it? Swapping out these horrible plastic water lines for some good old fashioned robust copper piping.

And tape measure!

So true! Not all cats like popcorn either:

Dehydrators might be a bit costly for some, but they quickly pay dividends if you used them often enough.

Pity? Nay, more for you!

It happens :)

Alcohol swabs can do the trick, that’s what I use on all my sandals once they start getting funky.

Pssst...He’s Swedish.

Thanks! I’ll check that out!

Me. I hate her.

Okay, thanks!

Okay, thanks!

Half of them were models built for small homes in the 70’s. They were pretty solid. The newer ones had a lot more plastic incorporated in them.

I’ve been glancing, but I was wondering if you had any specific recommendations?

Could you name some of these competitors? I’ve been interested in getting a Maglite for a while, but the price has held me back.
