I can't believe how old fashioned the art style in those books look nowadays. The hair is especially nicely shaded!

it definitely is a game made to make money, if not necessarily from Mexico.

Probably not the people playing murder or violence simulators, but I'm sure there is a niche group of people or they wouldn't make them at all, but I'm sure there is a little cross over.

I remember when I was little my mother said Americans are weird because they don't mind massive amounts of violence but one nipple shows on screen and it's a freak out.

Or like the OP said - you care more about school etc. than to make "that" a priority, whatever that is. Just a different mindset

One I like to do is instead of saying "had a bad day/week/month", I say "had a tough day/week/month". They are not bad days, but they may be more trying than others. Let's be honest, anybody reading this is still having a better day than billions of people on this planet.

I also disagree with that assertion, but I think that "instant dislike" is most often caused by the person reminding you of someone else that you have had a bad experience with. So, sure, you're projecting your past experience onto this new person, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing to do.

Kids today and their "manners"...

I don't usually play internet detective (nor reply to myself), but I got curious.

Lifehacker is nowhere near as bad about it as most gawker sites. I almost forget Lifehacker is a gawker site because its commenters aren't the special breed of insane you'll see at gawker or, God forbid, jezebel. I've actually had enjoyable and educational discussions with lifehacker commenters.

Well, timpster1 is not the first timpster to make random posts hawking f.lux. So yes, marketer is not unlikely.

Yeah, I like the program but there's a weird amount of people that just kinda comment about it on every article.

Always disappointed when these infographics don't include the so-called "fallacy fallacy." That is, "because you used a logical fallacy, your conclusion is incorrect."

Does f.lux pay people to promote it or something? Are you just a clever bot? I see more than a few posters who bring it up at utterly random times, and in unrelated topics.

Well ghosts do exists — prove to me they don't!

Considering the only meaningful relationships in my life are books, about as long as it takes to drain the battery on my Kindle.

I wouldn't call it "where healthy eating becomes a problem" . Healthy eating is defined by science. Once you diverge from that you are not eating healthy. Pretty simple. This is obviously an eating disorder. I have a friend that won't eat potato and tomato because they are night shades Or some such shit.

I worked for someone in the mental health field who called veganism an "entry-level eating disorder" and I think she had a point. While I understand why the very animal-loving might choose it I kind of see what she means. I did it for three weeks as an experiment and I swear I spent every freakin' moment worrying

Me, which is why I came here. I got most my height over the span of eight months, up six to seven inches in that time. Being much taller than friends tends to make you dip your head a great deal to converse. Fitting into chairs, airplane seats, phone/kindle reading, marrying a girl 15 inches shorter... everything

More people than you realize. Clothes hide a lot of the details, but when you see someone with a bit of a hunch in their shoulders, chances are their lower back is a mess, too.
