Except dude who wrote the article isn’t just complaining about stereotypical characters but about characters who don’t “”seem black’’’ besides their skin color. Just being a character, even well developed, who happen to be black is not enough, apparently. 

The fact there are so few black video game characters you can list them is probably not in service of the point you think you're making. Is there a list of white video game characters?
