Most of us live our entire lives without getting arrested or going to jail once because we know specifically we can’t get away with acting like we’re white.

Aside from driving while black being a thing, there’s also the fact that our neighborhoods are more heavily policed despite using drugs less than white people, meaning that a white person is probably a lot less likely to get arrested for smoking weed than a white person. Laws are not enforced evenly.
