Cats don’t know what quality of life is. He’s not “okay” with anything; he’s literally incapable of thinking about his future. He eats what’s there because he’s an animal and animals need to stuff themselves in case food isn’t around in the future. Food will be around, so he doesn’t need that much food at a time.
