That thing was like a zit in the middle of your face on school picture day. It was the worst thing to ever happen to The Lion King.

I like to compare it to early Buffy episodes on a campiness scale.

This is awesome! I often find myself being drawn into the pit of no return with youtube comments: I read one and it goes downhill from there until I come to 3 hours later passed out on the floor covered in tears and wondering why I would read such vitriol.

Agreed. As a middle schooler in the late 90's I vividly remember my parents not paying much attention to what I got up to on the internet, which could have been potentially hazardous had they not raised me to be such a goody goody. While most of my forays into the web were completely innocent (I even gained some

Is your sister a shark? That would explain things.

I only point out that she's 15 because TFS seems to make this ruling that age 14 is okay. I've never been there but I suspect that its because a lot of their user base is in high school. To me that's like teenagers being on Teen Vogue (Know your audience).

I agree with you on the children of celebrities but I think Tavi is different. I mean, other than the fact that she's currently 15 she's put herself out there and made an honest name for herself in the fashion world. She has her blog and she clearly enjoys doing it. She's known to the fashion world because of who she

Oh, if there were drastic changes during the film to musical version, then I'll believe that. I just felt that the film version of the musical stayed pretty true to the version they'd created for the stage, which I think is what they were going for.

I actually found the film version of Hairspray: The Musical to be pretty on par with the stage version it was actually basing itself on. I've never seen the original movie though so I don't know if there are any major changes made when it went from film to stage play.

He also offends anyone who has ever enjoyed Jackson 5 (and possibly Michael Jackson) since this is clearly laid over "I Want You Back."

Is it really the most wonderful time of the year? I can think of plenty of times I enjoy a lot more than the stress of the holiday season and the gross snow and the cold. Early spring for example, when the flowers start to bloom? And mid-autumn when the leaves change colors and it becomes acceptable to eat fall

As a fellow Jew, I agree. It's the only one on this list that I enjoy as opposed to simply tolerate.

I was really fond of fantasy at 13 and started reading Tamora Pierce. She is still my all time favorite.

I had to listen to it three times to confirm that the announcer called then "scunsies" and not "scrunchies." Is this a regional thing? An 80's thing that I missed by being a 90's kid? I have never heard them called that before.

I'm pretty sure Weird Al just made me get on board the Christmas Carols Are Cool Train. Usually I hate them, but these are something else.

WOW! Color me impressed.

Agreed. Yes, it has lyrics like, "Say, what's in this drink..." which sounds like the answer should be Flunitrazepam. But then that's countered by, "I ought to say no, no, no, sir... At least I'm gonna say that I tried." Lady totally wants to stay.
