I read somewhere (or was told by one of my computer engineer friends), that people born in the 80's (specifically '83 through '88?) are actually supposed to have the easiest time when dealing with changes in technology. Something about how being born before then means people are more understanding if you don't know it…

@Mary Ratliff: From what I've heard and seen of the movie, and the summary Amazon gives me of E.D. Baker's book, it is a pretty direct adaptation of the plot, if not all the details. Either way this is the first non-Pixar Disney movie I have been looking forward to since 1993.

I'm seeing this movie in a few weeks with my friends after the crying teen fangirls ebb. That way when I laugh at inappropriate times I won't have anyone in the audience clamoring to take my head off. If they do, we can just hug it out.

@Penny: when i was a senior in college i lived with a girl and three guys. for valentine's day the girl's mom got everyone in the apartment gifts; she got cute boyshort panties, the boys all got silk boxers, and i got socks. i felt so left out.

I have seen this. It was, no lie, the hottest thing ever. I almost feel guilty garnering that much pleasure from it.
