Now that it’s going away, I bet that we don’t see the Halcyon pop up in Star Wars canon going forward. For the past few years, Disney shoehorned that ship into novels and comics. They even made it where Han and Leia had their honeymoon.

The “Force you to Pay a Lot” sure wasnt!

Don’t shut it down, just charge less, you corporate mooks!

I think when it was envisioned, Star Wars was definitely in a better spot IP wise and the economy was in much better place.

I find it difficult to believe that anyone ever thought a $6,000 for two nights Star Wars theme hotel in Florida would turn a profit.

For what they were charging I built my own Millennium Falcon. Then I flew it to Mars.

I’m guessing they did the math and this was the cheaper solution.

It’s a shame they don’t revise the property to be just a Star Wars themed hotel for the guests of the park to stay there, removing the LARPing aspect. It would still be fun for fans and kids.

Don’t forget he played the Penguin’s father in Batman Returns

Didn’t really watch Pee-Wee Herman, but I’ll never forget his part in Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I get that, for my tastes though Phantasm is little too plodding, and I find I appreciate it more than I actually enjoy it.

The best Batman movie had Adam West, Burt Ward, a helicopter, a rope ladder, and a shark.

That’s just an inferior version of the comic, though.

Having watched Phantasm recently, I would take umbrage with that headline.

It’s still one of the best and beats the absolute shit out of any live-action Batman, don’t get me wrong, but Return of the Joker just edges it out.

It was produced as an open matte. Every shot was framed around the theatrical widescreen aspect ratio, but the rest of the 4:3 frame above and below that was drawn and animated so the home video release could get the full intended shot without resorting to black bars or zooming in with pan-and-scan.

And this is the Second best...

The Best Batman Movie Ever Made”

Fun fact that I recently learned, Japan during WW2 publicly refused to join in on Hitler’s holocaust of the Jews despite Germany’s demands that they do so. Japan’s official policy was just to treat Jewish people just like they would treat any citizen of whatever country they were from and they also freely accepted

Agree to disagree,  Godzilla vs. Kong was a fun movie and it also didn't pretend that Kong would stand a chance against our lord and savior God....zilla.
