My grossly overpowered Morgan 3 Wheeler is ready.

Somebody talked! No one is safe! I’m getting out of here! YAAYYYY!!!

You’re just trying to get it locked in stone so I HAVE to do it. And I’m alright with that.

So, just another autumn Saturday night in Austin, then?

Only if it’s a Borat speedo

If Faraday Future ever makes it to production and the company OUTPERFORMS even Fisker in sales, I will strip down to a Speedo and run the length of 6th street in Austin on a game day Saturday night at 11:00 pm from IH35 all the way to Congress. Patrick George and Stef will monitor the event.

I must’ve missed it. What’s cool now then?

Man CGI has come a long way. Looks so real.

so like - i can totally understand your point right? I watch RegularCars (RCR) on youtube and they were talking about how much fun a 93 civic (or whatever) is. Their point was, you can push the car to its absolute limit, all the time, as hard as you want. For two reasons.

1. no one cares if the car breaks
2. the cars

I’d call BS on that claim, but I believe you man. It’s hard for me to justify a DCT/flappy paddle car. My left foot gets bored an anxious in an auto. My entire driving routine is thrown off because I’m not modulating the clutch, downshifting etc. I look at some of the cars I dream about driving and get kind of bummed

Now you learned the “driving a slow car fast” paradigm!

bubububububububut tenths of laptime!!!?!?!?

So much this. When your friends notice how smooth a downshift is, you feel badass. Cannot agree more.

But most of the people that can afford Ferrari’s don’t buy them for fun, they buy them to get chicks or just show off.

“It’s a trap!!!” I’ve been no fan of Porsche over my lifetime because I don’t like the styling and I don’t like the rear engine, but I love that they are keeping the manual alive.

I must be young and grumpy then because me too. Now get off my lawn!

That’s a BIG statement...but I believe you.

Old and grumpy seems to be the way car enthusiasm is heading. I am on board. Now get off my lawn!

. . . or because you think it’s fun to operate and control a machine with your own hands and feet, in sync, and with full attention to all sensory input.
