Honestly I see AWD as nothing but down sides. It’s added weight, complexity, and cost (plus cost to repair), with reduced fuel economy. I drive in the snow 6 months a year and I would never consider an AWD vehicle.

AWD does not add safety. It helps you move forward, not stop or turn.

If where you live has ROADS then you don’t need AWD. Buy snow tires. The Accent is a great suggestion for a <5000 budget. Koreans have terrible depreciation and are comparatively cheap used.

It doesn’t exactly look graphically intense. You could easily run it in a VM/Crossover.

Yeah, I realize that the live action show isn’t the anime, but I have enjoyed binging the first 5 episodes. I think the jokes are funny but cheesy, and the action is entertaining if predictable. It’s pulpy sci-fi.
