If where you live has ROADS then you don’t need AWD. Buy snow tires. The Accent is a great suggestion for a <5000 budget. Koreans have terrible depreciation and are comparatively cheap used.

It doesn’t exactly look graphically intense. You could easily run it in a VM/Crossover.

Metamucil and a box-set of Matlock? 

Kia Stinger. V6 turbo, AWD, 4 doors, hatchback, relatively uncommon. It’s got it all.

As someone who drives a Mazda 3 in the Canadian winter, and it’s wonderful, I am so sorry for this.

I don’t understand that mentality at all. It’s a tool for going places (quickly). So long as you fix the deep scratches that might rust, and do regular maintenance, it’s not worth worrying about a car like that.
