To everyone making a comment on the size: that huge dildo-looking shaft is probably a series of batteries, while the actual tracker would be the smaller box.

@Matt White: No, it's completely different because NOS is providing energy from an 'outside source', while the energy provided by KERS has been 'rerouted' instead of being lost as heat under braking. Assuming nothing breaks, KERS will work forever in its own closed system....NOS cannot.

Both my parents can drive manuals, as my mom and her siblings were all first taught how to drive manuals by my grandfather, and she actually had a Datsun 240Z in college. When I purchased my first manual car (1985 RX-7), she and my dad were tasked with giving me introductory lessons in driving a manual, and riding

They impounded it only because they are trying to find out why it hasn't caught fire yet.

@AnalogDan: Rev_junkie and Al Navarro are talking about the Lotus Seven, not the Elise. Most Sevens are less powerful than an Atom, but weigh less (~1100 lbs to the Atom's ~1500 lbs.)
