That's hot.
That's hot.
@mercury_marine: I like your rules.
To be honest, I don't like NASCAR just because I think it's boring. I find going 80mph down a dirt road with trees on one side an a cliff on the other, sometimes while sideways and/or airborne, much more exciting than driving around a safety-focused oval at 190mph.
@dgjpalmer: Both this loop and the one on Top Gear were faked.
Nothing is as retro AND cool as a cab-foward van or pickup, and 3k for this apparently decent-condition specimen is a very Nice Price.
@dead_elvis: Wait a minute, someone actually thought buying a Pacifica for $11k was a good idea?
On a similar note:
@kaneshadow: If it was on a Porsche it'd be called uberbruce.
MINI is doing it wrong, and because of the wierd angle/lighting number 17/27 looks like a 2D cardboard cutout.
@cobrajoe: No, we need more small performance coupes with large engines.
@siva80: Yeah, next to Top Gear it is possibly my favorite show of all time.
Funny thing is, CL's image compression is so extreme that you can hardly tell it was photoshopped anyway.
@Kraakmo: There was actually a short write-up and link about it here, which is what introduced me to Jalopnik long ago :)
So, who's gonna drop the first obligatory gripe about there being no IRS?
@Novaload: You mean the one I added to his Wikipedia page?
I believe I have now cast over 2000 votes (1 per 5 seconds, 12 per minute, 720 per hour, been going for over 3 hours), rocketing The Burberry Dragon to 91%.
@Novaload: I'm using the automatic-absentee method. ([pastebin.com])
@jark: Yeah, but it's a laborious task to sit there and click Ray "Burberry" Wert and the Vote button over and over again.
@skaycøg: Yes, clearing your cookies allow you to vote again.
Mmm, toasty.
