Reventon just got 1-up'd.

Honestly, with all the retro rip-offs that have gone around, why hasn't someone re-made the '63 Vette?

@BRDHNTR: Extraordinaire: Nay, too heavy. The Hayabusa-based 2.8L Hartley V8, as seen next to a 2.0L Ford Zetec I4, and its 400 naturally-aspirated horses would be a much better choice:

@Adamskiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiy: Err, the A4 taillights don't have a sharp corner like that....I thought it may be a 3rd-gen Acura TL, but it's the one with the panel gaps that don't match.

How did they even make it that ugly?

@SpeedWagon: JALOPNIK CHALLENGE: First person to name the make and model of that car gets....a sense of accomplishment (false, however, no one here knows what it is)

If I drank, I'd pour one out right now. :-(

:(

@ohms: Oh, no wonder....for some reason, the main body of each post wasn't showing up in Opera, just the title — works in IE though.

@ohms: That forum is impossible to navigate.....so the driver really did die? :(

@wonkydonky: The F40 had a twin-turbo V8....good enough for me.

@skulldriveshaft: Yeah, Chevy Cobalts are definitely exotic vehicles.

Oh and since this CTS-V uses the same engine as the ZR-1, I'm going to be foolishly wishful in hoping that only the ECU holds back those extra ~80 horses.

@OrangeBoss9: @TexanIdiot25: Thanks....the interior shots were scaring me, and despite GM's recent good performance deeds, you still never know what sort of stupid things they might do.

@Ben Wojdyla: Wow, I hadn't heard of him before, so looked it up....I had seen the video clip before, and knew that the track marshall obviously died, but I didn't know about the whole thing with the fire extinguisher :(
