I tried it out and wasn't overwhelmingly impressed. The lack of widget is what makes it lesser than the default player, but I'm keeping it installed to see what the future will hold (Google's promises of OTA syncing etc).

I have my default signature that I use 75% of the time so I set that one through gmail's standard signature.
