It's a cool app. My girlfriend didn't believe it really worked so last night I showed here that the moon really was where it said it was. It was a cloudy night, so no stars however.

Outside of the US your choices are severely limited...

I'm excited about the news for Adobe AIR coming to Android. Any half-decent web developer will now have the ability to make apps! (not sarcastic)

I keep a portable copy of chrome on my computer because my gf is often borrowing it and this way our accounts don't get mixed up.

I like the ability to customize but the original is still better in my opinion. A few of the custom orbs didn't animate as nicely as I'd hoped, plus with "use small icons" it's not positioned well.

I haven't been able to test anything but I presume that printing in a shade of gray (instead of black) would save some ink over time.

@illegal3alien: I think this post is not about the "open with..." you are hoping for. More just an application launcher.

"Dear Pandora Visitor,

Voted twitter just because I "like to share short updates with the web at large"... If I didn't see that line, I wouldn't gone with facebook.

Lets not forget TubeRadio.fm

I want OOo to be everything that MSOffice is and offers... You think that will ever happen with time?

Interestingly I switch from iTunes to gPodder as a result of this HiveFive. iTunes on a non-mac is just not the right way to go.

@Arekku: it will update itself.

I've still got a hotmail account from when I was 15. There's no escaping it anymore!!!

For lack of a viable alternative at the time, I ripped a bunch of DVDs to ISO files and just mount them whenever we want to watch a movie. It may be a bit brute-force, but as you may know, brute force always works!

Nokia n900 clever enough to join the smart phone group?
