I reverse-engineered a Super Armatron for a college project… there are 300+ seperate parts and over 100 unique parts. It was pretty intimidating at first, but my team and I disassembled and reassembled it about 7 times; still worked fine.

The biggest thing I've noticed for a lot of people is there seems to be this global idea that there is some kind of magic that goes into the construction of a device such that if you take it apart and put it back together again it will not work.
