On occasion, I will look at the image properties of an ad, and add the domain to be blocked in the hosts file.

Adblock Plus is great, but it only hides the "stuff", so your computer is actually downloading data, it's just not viewable on your screen. With the hosts file, ads and what not are never downloaded, very helpful if on say, dial-up or Edge :P

A thing to note is that the first part of the ./Configurator script, you can run as many times to enable or disable basic options. The deleting of languages however will remove them permanently, no biggie.

If you currently have the phone Jailbroken, SSH to /private/var/mobile/Library/SMS

Yes you can, go to the Post-Installation section of the whited00r website. There are some very simple commands that you enter inside of Terminal on the phone.

Would really love an invite :)

This isn't anything new, they have something similiar for chopsticks.

I use Symantec Ghost or Ghost Solution Suite. Reboot computer with disc in, create the image, say of desired partition (or entire HDD), once you restore, just boot up and use.

Hell, don't hate. Cable isn't all high and mighty :P

I used to do this quarterly for the properties I managed, ish was insane! Hundreds of devices with an IP address. Had to use Microsoft Visio. Never thought about doing it for the home. Is there really a point to do this in the home?

I'm sorry, but "limp 3G"? AT&T Mobility pwnd everyone else in the 3G area. But this so-called bandwidth test is not on a leveled playing field given that it's comparing an entirely different tech.

I see this all time on south american news. The latest I've seen was hiding drugs inside BEANS! They even make it inside chocolate bars, sadles, clothes... so forgive me if I yawn at sneakers. However it is pretty interesting that it was abandoned... decoy?

I keep it simple on my iPhone 2G, since I have the Whited00r 4.4 firmware, it already has native folders, backgrounding/multitasking, homescreen wallpapers, etc.

Slow news day Gizmodo?

This is whats been going down in Peru for a couple of years now. And this is only one of many that are far worse...

Am I too late to the party? I'll just leave this here...

If you start service with AT&T Mobility and chose not to do a contract, you will not receive mobile-to-mobile minutes. You can set up your account for 1yr to get mobile-to mobile.
