I’m sure the game will be fine on it’s own merits, but can you blame Metroid fans for wanting a proper Metroid? I’d love a proper new Prime or even a new 2D Metroid based on the SNES and GBA series. The only recent game I beat 3 times. One stealth with deaths, one full action with deaths and a final sneak with no deaths or alarms. It’s awesome.

Have you played the game? It would barely help. The grid has so many possible answers, to try every pattern would already take for ever. Also it only happens on certain puzzles. Anyways overall the game is still fantastic.

The only thing that has annoyed me is some of the puzzle deactivate when you input the wrong answer, forcing you to go to the previous one and re enter it. It serves no purpose, I already solved the previous one, I felt like it was just wasting my time. Other than that I’ve had a blast playing it.

The goal of PC master race has never been about mouse and keyboard unless you played a twitch MP game like quake and counter strike, or for playing RTS.

Do you have a VR headset? The are ways of adapting almost any first person game to work with VR. Though of course it’s not official support so things can get a bit buggy.

Have you played it? I didn’t find that to be a problem at all. The game keeps making you think by adding rules and at a certain point a whole other layer unlocks about the game world based on these line puzzles. I wouldn’t change a single thing about it.
