I don’t think it would tho. Downscaling preserves image quality, but upscaling stretches it. 4k is 4x 1080p. If the game you are running is at 1080p then your 4k screen will have to upscale the image 4 times and that will show. Most Xbox One aren’t even 1080p, some are at weird resolutions so it might not look so hot.

That’s why I’ll wait and see, you might be right. But if the games does super well and people are happy, maybe it’ll show them that their are better ways. I’m hoping!

Whip out your macbook as in throwing it out? You know you need to run windows 10 right?

Thats true. I still feel like their reputation has been getting worse recently then back in the SNES days.

I just said you can get a refund. What part of that is shut up and take it? He was whining that he’d have to do research before buying PC games when he has options to not be fucked. Also I mention that console games also launch broken so buying more console games won’t shield him from broken games. Take you head out

Haha, +1 point for you. Didn’t think of that. On toilet gaming is truly technologie being use for good.

But why? Wouldn’t you be more comfortable playing in your living room. The only answer I’ve had is, I have to share my TV with my girlfriend/family/roommate. And thats a perfectly good reason too but for me it’s still niche.

Well I already addressed that in the 2 scenarios that it would be useful for. Im not saying its not a cool feature, it’s just niche to me. It would be more useful if you could stream your PC games to your Xbox one under the Windows 10 architecture. If microsoft wants to get me excited about gaming on Windows 10, they

Ya, I guess a lot of people share living rooms so it makes sense. As a forever alone person tho I can use by nice TV all the time.

No PC/Wii U all the way baby! Also it’s over local connection so I think you can’t do what you just described.

Actually, PC elitist. Haha I do use it on a TV tho.

As far as I’m concerned, currently the best gaming is PC/Wii U. Eventually PS4 will have a nice exclusive collection but I can wait 2 more years for the price drop.

Xbox One on the other hand, never gonna buy that.

Have Capcom changed their ways? Are they going back to the glory days when their name meant something else then gouging customers and unoriginal sequels? I’ll wait and see but this seems like good news!

I think they realised that greed was hurting them and that by just giving people value they will in turn gain

The feature is great. but they are advertising it as if it’s the most useful thing in Windows 10.

I guess if you want to move around, but really the couch would be way more cosy, and better for your back then sitting on your bed.

But ya you are in the 2 examples of who would use it. I guess it happens a lot where people have to share the living room. But I don’t think games that arent even 1080p are gonna look so hot on your 4k display. Unless in windowed mode.

I feel like it’s such a niche feature. If you already have both, what is the point?

Scenario 1: You have a setup in your gaming quarters with both your XBOne and PC. No use.

Man, I hope someone is getting shit at WB for this. The worst part is that I feel like the decision was made by a higher up but the people who are gonna get shit on are everyone under him.

I 100% believe that all these issues were bugged by tester a loooong time ago and it just got ignored. I’ve seen this happened so

Stop whining, Steam has a refund feature now so you can just get your money back. It’s not like console games never launch broken (AC: Unity) People are quick to forget.

By research you mean wait one day after launch to see the reaction?

One thing doesn’t excuse the other. “Well this guy died without any fanfare so now everyone must die without fanfare”. Emotions don’t work that way. If some shining hero died without anyone batting an eye, that is sad, but that doesn’t default to the next situation.

You can’t tell me how to feel. He did touch my life. My life is in HUGE part gaming, so it’s normal for someone who is such an icon of the industry to matter. I grew up playing Kirby on the NES. I could agree, taking pictures might be a bit disrespectful, but you better believe if I was in Kyoto when this was
