Excellent choice. Beautiful work of art, the 288.

In 2001, I was living in The Netherlands and went to a vintage Italian car show/ club race at Zandvoort. One of these was entered in the race, done up in gulf livery. Seeing and hearing it being driven in anger was awe inspiring. Also awesome were all of the vintage 500 Abarths zipping around like angry bees, with

My favorite childhood Ferrari until the F40 came out, but still a tie to this day :-) I've seen a couple of these down here - if you can make it to the Winter Park Concours d'Elegance it's shown up twice as well as at the Naples Ferraris on 5th.

As you can tell by me screen name, I love this car too, and like you I haven't had the opportunity to see on in person ... YET. I know there is one in the Chicagoland area, and I will hunt it down. I got two good chances, shows to go to before the year is up where it might show up, because it has before. *fingers

*crap* hangs up phone

"motherfucking doody language" made me fucking lose it.

Ooh I can do that?!? I hate pickles!

A common problem plaguing $600k cars.

I laughed out loud.

When I was living in Salt Lake City a couple of years ago I went to the Ferrari dealer there just to do some drooling. What I didn't expect was that in the back of the showroom along one wall would be a 288 GTO, an F40, an F50, and an Enzo, all in red sitting side by side. It was sick.

Yes. That.

i have stopped by that dealership quite a few times. my wife laughs at me when i slow down every time we drive by but when they had the f40 in there i made her get out and check it out with me. they didn't chase me out but they weren't exactly welcoming.

There is a guy near me that has one.. Or atleast he did.. I have no clue now.. In 2001 he did.. along with a F40, F50, Testarossa, 550, 360, 355, and some old racing Ferrari that I have no clue what it was... I'm sure he has a few more by now.

My wife and I went to Central Market on North Lamar one afternoon and saw an Enzo pulling out of the Ferrari dealership, which is just down the street. People actually pulled over to let it by.

Came here to post this. By far my favorite piece of automotive art.

I would sell my left kidney to see one up close.

Yeah, like I could sell a 12C. I'd get way, way too attached to it.

I watch clips of the reaction from the camera people going "OH MY GOD WE'RE FUCKING FIRED"

Lol I didn't see this but I couldn't beat that anyway.
