In all fairness, crossed legs is the most comfortable way to sit. Especially in a skirt when there are photographers around. Or if you’re a person incapable of producing their own body heat, like me.

To be fair I think that’s true for almost every wartime. Technology and tactics from the last war vs. the modern realities of war. Cavalry was good enough for the last war so why not for this little scuffle with Germany.

To be fair, an aircraft carrier is basically a small island that can move. It’s an amazing feat of engineering and infrastructure. Trump’s wall would not be.
