Hahaha! My great grandma would say that firstborn children can come at any time. The rest take 9 months.

When my parents were married, my mom was already about 4 months pregnant with my oldest brother. My Grandmother instructed her to “hold the bouquet in front of you until you say ‘I Do’”. Definitely fooled everyone in attendance.
I work for a local 911 center. CALL THEM!
Best bet is to probably throw on your hazards.
I believe you’re supposed to call 911 and ask the dispatcher to let the officer know that is what you are doing. No help in a rural area where reception might be sketchy.
I’m not sure, but putting on your hazards, driving really slow, and calling 911 might be a good option.
i would put on my emergency flashers and if I was in the car with someone else I would have them call 911 and ask the dispatcher to relay to the officer that I was driving until I found a safe place to stop.
In most states, you can call *77 on your cell to get in contact with the highway patrol in the area. They should be able to relay your intention to the officer following you. Check on your state though, as some use other numbers. You should also turn on your hazards, use the right lane, and travel at normal speed.
I was told (not by any law enforcement but by my mom, so caveat emptor) that using your emergency flashers and slowing way down was a good way to do it. However, a woman was arrested recently for doing just that. So I dunno. I guess we’re just supposed to trust the cops. /sarcasm/
Call 911 and let them know you’re aware that you are being pulled over but will wait until you’re somewhere safe.
I‘ve heard call 911 from your car and explain— not sure that’s truthful or valid—but at least it a flag in the ground.
Related, if indirectly. This just reminded me that I don’t know the answer to this: if I were pulled over, how do I indicate to the officer pulling me over that I am waiting until we get to an area where I feel safe?
I find it hard to believe Camille Paglia herself was not a mean girl in high school.
I feel like her attack is a little like a gun to a knife fight-ish?
Whatever there is there gets lost in the pile on of over the top incendiary rhetoric and those comparisons. My thought process is a little rusty, but I feel like throwing Nazi out there in this case is less about Taylor’s “ideology” and more about Taylor’s looking like the idealization of a Nazi standard for physical…
Very old. Not “keeping” up with her, I had almost forgotten the all the Madonna rhetoric. Didn’t she start out championing Madonna and then flip flop on it?
Or, you know, you could just let women speak.
My heart goes out to Kristin. A sudden and unexpected death is the worst. I just went through one a few weeks go.
abigail breslin has far more chutzpah than i. i would not be able to tell a comedian his dumb rape jokes aren’t funny and instead would try to slink out.
