Like Katharine said in the article, the whole point of Death Star II was to be operational but look like it wasn’t.

‘Twas an elaborate ruse.
I wonder if that’s fast enough to reduce gouging and impalement in pedestrian or cyclist accidents as well. If they introduced this feature in 2004, they were probably looking ahead to EU pedestrian safety requirements that were supposed to take effect in 2005.
Please tell me it jams your fingers down into the compartment and mangles your hand. I want to see the lawsuit that the would-be thief will levee against the owner and RR. Gotta love ‘Merica.
I thought the answer was: “because it’s not 1988 anymore.”
Seriously... I am done with this... This is getting beyond stupid. Back in my day pokemon were animals with an ocasional somewhat explainable anomaly, now it is just “first thing on your left is now a pokemon.
I’m a level 16. I threw a Pokeball at a CP10 Pidgey. He got out. Threw 2 more. He got out and ran away.
They’re not saying they used some effects in post production but hacked the game itself.
I really hope South Park makes a Chinpokomon Go episode.
Yeah, that dinner image you wanted to send wouldnt be ready until you got your photo processed at a 1-hour photo booth and then scanned it.... but to say it was expensive and difficult isnt accurate - it just simply wasnt instant..
Even 3.1 was better than this. Remember MYST was popular back in ‘92.
Seriously. And “limited color palette”? Has to be confusing it with Windows 3.1 or DOS.
With players turning on Pokémon Go, Niantic just put out a statement explaining why certain changes were made.
So...footstep tracking is coming back when it actually works?
My wife and I just got new phones for PokemonGo, and we both went for Team Instinct since it’s the least popular team in our area (and world-wide, if I’ve read correctly) and we both just kind of enjoy playing underdogs or under-represented characters in games.
They have a total lack of response on the support page, ”Nearby” had been broken for weeks, and the places where certain Pokemon show up are sketchy and inconsistent (the costs place i can find dratinis is a 40 drive despite similar parks in my city). The trackers are the only reason I didn’t uninstall. You know who’s…
I certainly agree with the sentiment, but let’s be honest, even if they do fix the three-step bug, we’ll still use the API scanners.
I LOVE being 3 steps from something I don’t have, and never getting any closer. This morning at work I had a Tauros and Nidoking 3 steps away, did an entire lap of the massive building and never got closer and then they disappeared.
Niantic is full of shit. Their “game” is barely playable and they have the guts to whine about players trying to find a way to make the game more tolerable?
That’s pretty much the long and short of it.
