Please read the article again. There is no policy to remove a delegate except for death or voluntarily resigning. The delegate could have shot someone on the floor with cameras rolling and the DNCC could not have removed their credentials.

A policy to remove people due to bad actions is all she wants. It’s a pretty

I’m amazed that they didn’t pull his credentials and get him out of there at a bare minimum. Thank you for staying on this and making sure it doesn’t fall through the cracks; the DNC absolutely needs to have a clear policy in place for this sort of inexcusable behavior.

I’m very sorry you had to go through that experience. It must have frustrating and horrifying at the same time. Thank you for speaking up and hopefully helping make some positive change. We need more people like you in politics.

So, I’m Gwen Snyder, the woman in the article. It was a pretty awful experience and my biggest hope is to use it to make some sort of positive change at the DNC and at the Doubletree, which refused to help me. I do have a couple asks if folks want to take action:

Upon reading again, I see it says there is no type of recourse for inappropriate conduct between delegates of any kind. That they don’t have a specific sexual assault problem is definitely an issue, but if they didn’t have ANY policies about ANY type of inappropriate conduct between delegates it doesn’t seem like such

Does this remind anyone else of the pictures of Bill Clinton that graced newspaper front pages under the headlines announcing the country’s first woman presidential nominee by a major party?

I’m with you, sister. My husband likes ‘em. I like ‘em. Our son looks so cute in ‘em. West coast fashion sense all the way — comfort rules.

Welll it’s just not fair. And bros, I’m with you. I don’t think it’s fair either....that women are so afraid of men because violent crimes against women are overwhelmingly committed by men, and as a result of that we have to create physical safe spaces that segregate the genders. But ok, let’s fix your boo-boo first.

Am I the only woman who doesn’t care about cargo shorts like at all? Wear what you want- do you. I’m not a fan of men’s denim shorts, but I’m not about to tell anyone not to wear them. Cargo shors seem fine. Is this the California in me? Am I whipped by my talk and handsome cargo loving husband?

Dear Mr. Perry,

I came on to ask exactly same thing. I love when my husband wears cargo shorts. I even buy him those. He looks hot. I never even knew there’s cargo short hate out there.

Ick, why do I have a feeling this professor is a big time arsehole?

Not to start up the whole “safe spaces" discourse again, but as a women attending college, that's essentially what these exclusively-female spaces are. And it kind of pisses me off that some asshole can't get over the fact that sometimes we just want to be in a space without men, while still being in public.

I... I want to agree with you but man on the left is wearing a long sleeve button down with shorts (salmon no less) and I... I just don’t know

And yet, if my husband wore the shorts on the left, I would laugh him out of the room.

When I learned that it was not OK to wear jean shorts, I was a bit annoyed for a moment, but then I had to admit that they did look pretty dumb.

I was about to ask this same thing. The only things I can come up with are basketball-type shorts, jorts and flat-front preppy chini-type shorts. Given those choices, cargos seem the least offensive.

Ok honest question... what other types of shorts are out there for men? Am I supposed to be offended by men who wear cargo shorts? Are they juvenile? I’m just not getting this.

God, it must be SO HARD to be judged by your appearance and clothing choices instead of your skills and work ethic. HOW TERRIBLE.

Who ever runs Clinton’s twitter is a god/dess, because they throw some serious shade.
