The most expensive 980 I could find costs $520, and that’s over clocked with a custom cooler, so $1040 for two. The 295x looks to be $630. That’s $410 more for the dual 980s.

They really don’t. And AMDs crossfire profiles are spotty, which is the defining factor in whether or not the card has decent performance. Yes, two 980s would be hideously expensive, but he spent $6800 on the computer, do you really think money is an object in this build? And before the recent price drop, the 295x2…
I posted something similar in response to a Jalop post of Facebook, there were people who actually disagreed.
It’s also a dual chip card that, if memory serves, relies on crossfire and most games don’t do dual graphics chips very well. Two 980s really would have been a better choice.
There is a very high correlation there in much of America in my experience.
Sorry. Wasn’t explicit enough. I’ve only tried USB power plugs. The PS3 ONLY lets me charge from the system. PS4 will charge from other systems, but only when the PS4 is turned on.
Not trying to charge them from a computer. USB charger.
Some people have friends that can be annoying or intrusive; when all you want to do is play another game online they’ll invite you to a party or a game and won’t take no for an answer. Or sometimes you just want to play an online game without your friends, maybe you don’t feel like idle chit chat. Doesn’t matter why,…
I can charge the controller from other USB sources, when the system is on. If the system is off the controller refuses to charge. PS3 controller will only charge via the system itself. It’s annoying and stupid. Say what you will about ghee Xbox controllers requiring batteries, at least I don’t have this issue. And…
The exact opposite of sadness for me!
My understanding is that FASA licensed from a company that said they had the rights, so as far as they knew everything was on the up and up. Sadly, they were wrong. Honestly, I was never sure why they didn’t come up with their own designs to begin with. I can’t imagine licensing other peoples work is really that much…
For a lot of people here it’s just easier to drive an automatic. Especially on a large city or on the freeway in stop and go traffic. I recently drove to Portland Oregon in a stick shift, I would never do it again. I would much rather have an automatic in a city, it’s just less of a pain in the ass.
It’s too bad it wasn’t the banner...stupid football...
Dear Nintendo, you do remember that there is an 8-bit Samus sprite you could have used right?
Yeah, damage is an option. I believe the degree of damage is also changeable, it was in the past games.
I don’t think he had damage turned on, otherwise the first rear ending he did in the IndyCar race would have absolutely ruined him; it certainly ruined me in the demo.
I never minded the original. He may have sounded dispassionate, but he was an AI. Nolan just sounds...nasaly.
Or because Battlefront has always had CPU players?
I agree with the gauges, the chain, the dipstick and the FULL SIZED spare tire. But there’s one damn thing that you left off this list that no one below seems to have picked up on either, a real, mechanical link between the go fast pedal and engine. I don’t some damn throttle by wire, unless that wire is actually a…
It “creates jobs.” Or say the longer time Oregonians I’ve talked to like to say.
