In the MOOC, the homework was very comprehensive, and really prepared me for the exams. It was by no means easy homework, and I really enjoyed being challenged, but didn't think exams are the place to introduce new concepts or way different takes on material. This happened at the CC all the time, but not in the MOOC.

Yep, got a 93 on a math test, my dad asked what happened to the other seven points. Gave up on math shortly after. 25 years later, took an algebra class to see if I really sucked at math. Got As. "It sounds like you're bragging," said my dad. And he wonders why we're not close.

Yep, have had random dudes come up to me and comment negatively on my appearance, then go away. I've also witnessed it happening to other women. It's always bizarre and out of nowhere and infuriating.
