From Ford Authority’s post:

Praise be to his noodly appendages.

Same with the Lotus Evora. They have modest power by modern standards, but it’s enough to feel extremely competent without coming across as a liability.

The texture of the seats makes me think it’s a flood salvage. Either way though, too much heat on the flipper I guess.

One hell of a tough garbage can, that.

Asbestos-Free Lemonade!

False! A crew cab 8ft bed Smart Car has a length of 292,185" when measured from my house to the end of the ball hitch on a motorhome at the edge of a nearby neighborhood.

I will not stand idly by as you besmirch Gus’s blueberry!

Absolutely accurate.

The 5 wasn’t great in any particular area, but it fit a niche really well. Having a smaller alternative to larger vans (including traditional minivans) while retaining the sliding door and low load floor was nice.

He is Lindsey Stirling, and we are his fiddle.

There’s a reason he ain’t called Driver: Texas Ranger.

Icy what you did there.

Double self-followup, David Tracy over at The Autopian also has a nice rundown and scramble-about of the interior, maligning the lack of fold-flat rear seating. :[

Now playing

Self followup, Doug DeMuro’s video has a quick section showing the fold & tumble on the second row seats where he mentions the optional third row as well. (at 18m 20s)

There is optional third row seating available, it’s been confirmed on a few other sites. I haven’t been able to find a photo of third row seats deployed, though, and the press vehicles may not have them installed. They’re apparently quite small. Still, interesting advantage over the new Land Cruiser.

Exactly this. It’s a small, presumably comfortable and practical, mildly stylish little toaster of a car. You put juice in, it zooms you around town. Perfect! $35k, though, is a big ask for a city appliance with no real exceptional talents, no matter how cute.
