I don't think I have ever heard Dune be described as 'about the Middle East.' Like ever.

I hereby nominate this comment for worst of the day. (Yesterday).

Until we figure out how to target wormholes that provide a shortcut for the light. Just like in that Stephen Baxter book!

Now THAT'S interesting.

It ain't hard. Light takes time to travel just like a baseball. While light is waaaay faster than a baseball, the distance across which we are observing is waaaay waaaaay bigger. So while light can travel from the Sun to the Earth in 8 minutes, it takes a lot longer to travel from the pillars of creation to the Earth.

The entire article could have been reduced to "internet blogger just discovered speed of light, its impact on and implication for the observable universe."

I don't agree at all that it has an MMO quest system, zone system, or combat. I don't feel like hashing it all out though, so just agree to disagree.

Warrior class has never interested me in DA, (except the spirit thingie in awakenings). Of the three classes I think warrior is the most mundane, and templar is the most passive of the three warrior specs. I think the problem in turning down the difficulty to get the HP bars to drop faster is you only made your

Wellllll since you've pullllllllllled it out of me.....

Are those good things? They sound like good things...

I sort of agree and disagree. I get the sense you took Knight Enchanter. Holding R as an archer would get you nowhere fast.

In the glory days of MMO PLAYERS, the PLAYERS came into a game like EQ or SWG with their creativity and enthusiasm and made it amazing.

Agreed there. But it's a step in the right direction over 2.

Um......what game did you play? 1) turn up the difficulty, 2) don't take the class that makes the game broken if you don't want the game to be broken (KE, I take it?) and 3) you're just wrong because even on normal I found tactical decision making highly important. If you spammed R, even if you were an invincible KE,

Uh, 2, really? No, not at all. 2 sucked SO MUCH. It had the enclosed spaces of 1 without the artsy prettiness, and without actually GOING ANYWHERE, and the combat was just godawful. BOY do I love having bad guys pop out of the sky behind me in EVERY FIGHT. Makes positioning and planning SO MEANINGFUL.

It plays like an MMO to you? Did you become a Knight Enchanter? That's the one circumstance in which MMO button mashing would be a comparison...

Yes, up until you mention wings. Wings are chicken. Pure protein. Even if they are breaded (who does that?) The calories that are protein are more numerous by far than the calories that are other things.

Ah, yes, that tried and true democratic value of silencing the opposition or those you disagree with...

Is anyone else unsettled by the fact that MICHAEL MYERS draws art for Kotaku? MICHAEL. MYERS.

Foyle's War, YESSSSSSSSSS! That moment when Foyle sort of meekly but factually recounts your crime, and you don't realize 'till the end that it wasn't meek at all and actually you just got totally pwned.
