Meh, opinions. To me the robots are perfectly fine, but instead the monsters leave much to be desired. That said, at the end of the day I will care much more about the choreography of the fights than the aspect of the combatants, and in that regard I have no complaints so far.

Sharks aren't even that scary, at least to me. In the sea, I actually find jellyfish immensely more terrifying. Their deadly tentacles, their transparent bodies that are difficult to spot, their tendency to be found clustered in large groups, and worse of all, their sheer mindlessness... brr.
