Because Jalopnik is such a bastion of real news.

Maybe white phosphorus rounds or just the onboard ammunition cooking-off.

+1, My thoughts exactly when I read this.

For $500? Any day. $7,900? Oh Hell no, CP.

No, I was not well versed in panty-dropping. Mainly consisted of lift-off oversteer through the light posts.

Actually, searching around I'm pretty sure it can go either way.

Looks like a frog. A very pretty frog, yes, but undeniably a frog.

They were small fender benders, and the troubles he ended up having were unrelated.

Guy I worked with had a 2005-6ish Silverado that he had bought new. His heating and a/c went out one day on one side (I believe after his wife crashed it for the second or third time). Anyway, found out the pigtail for some of the heating electrics had fried. Can't remember how many hundred he paid to replace it, as

I used to always drift through the empty half of my high school parking lot on my way out in my 323. Of course, the day I gave a girl a ride it had rained and I very nearly understeered straight into a foot high curb. Her pants did not drop.

Sorry, smells of loophole to me. Doesn't exactly live up to the "Veyron-killer" title when it has to be achieved through technicalities...

Couldn't resist!

Yes, for people that enjoy walking.

My bad.

Never said it was simple, more that it will never have the refinement that the Bugatti has. Is that a bad thing? Not for those that like it, no. But does it really stand up to comparison with the Veyron (which Hennessey is inviting)? In my opinion, no.

Fair enough, but do you then go to a concert pianist and claim that your banging is better than his music because you're louder?

The Veyron is engineered top to bottom. While is it somewhat outdated now compared to something like the Agera R, it is designed to be driven at any speed in any condition as well as handle, be user friendly, etc.

"Also, for 99% of the people who buy the SS" or the Hennessey "when is that extra 2.1 mph really going to matter, let along get above 200mph?"

Given, but I doubt that any camp counselors are recording their performance of Kum Ba Yah and then claiming it is better than classical music...
