What is "meat floss"? Is it just meat that's been strung out really thin? Like extreme pulled pork or something? That doesn't sound bad.

Is there an "authentic" meat floss?

I think you broke Black Acre Brewing. I tried to get there and their service is "temporarily unavailable due to capacity issues". Way to go - crash their site with new potential customers!

I don't think I would. I wouldn't pay extra money for a PC to have a cute girl build it in front of me. I don't mind if the girl who builds my PC is cute, but it doesn't make the PC any better. I just want the PC to be the best it can be. So I can use it to google cute girls.

"Sex Sells" is an advertising given, but they're not really selling sex. They're using sex to get attention. If this company were putting their products in context - say, putting some chickens in a yard enclosed by the fencing material - they would get less attention and therefore less business. But a sexy lady

Except in the real world there are restrictions to keep the individual id in check. The only restrictions in DayZ appears to be the limitations of the programming. My point isn't that DayZ should be a utopian life simulator, but that maybe it's more apt as social experiment than "game". People terrorizing people, just

The only stories I ever see about DayZ are about powerful players being absolute dicks to newbies. I hear the rebuttals - "it's about player interaction". Except in this world the social contract has been peed on and stuffed up someone's rear end.

I think it fails even worse on the "sexy cosplay" level.

I'd buy that for a dollar.

Nope. Don't get it.

I don't think I'd like chocolate fries, but the sandwich in the bottom picture looks pretty good. Looks like a take on the Monte Cristo - thin slices of meat stacked and deep fried. Except here they're presented as the patty, not the whole sandwich. Yum!

I'm torn on the "reading on their own before video games" advice. My own parental instinct agrees. Video games can numb the brain and enforce artificial feedback, potentially retarding reading development. On the other hand, a video game could produce an impetus to read. I've got two kids - my daughter loved to sit on

Sounds like everything w

Hate happens in every industry. It just appears more prominent for gaming because the core audience have ready access to computers and the internet. How much displeasure hits insurance claims agents who are tasked with sniffing out fraud? Or an auto engineer who builds a hybrid that randomly drains its battery? Or

Gross.

My inattention to this gaming community has been validated. Thanks!

I'm always amazed when I see mass-produced food. Primarily because the scope of humanity necessary to validate that level of consumption is just staggering. I'm not exactly an advocate of the Hostess fruit pie, but I don't know anyone who eats them on a regular basis.

My question - does the LoC also maintain an OS or appropriate devices to operate the physical media? I don't know about you, but if I wanted to play Baldur's Gate again, I'm going straight to GoG, not messing about with 7 CDs in the foldout case. The last time I tried to get something to run it took almost as long
