Terrible toupee aside, I can’t believe how young John Goodman looked when he played 1980s Eli. Make up or special effects?

Really? I thought Shiv did well on the panel. She was calm, sounded smart and really gave it to her dad.

When he started belching and barfing, I was sure he was having a stroke or a heart attack.

You are absolutely right. Not only are there no public toilets, the private sector rarely provides a restroom for their customers because, you know, they just might be used by a [shudder] homeless person.

Because we need to stay angry and not get complaisant.

Thanks

Lots of references to the door-to-nowhere this episode. Connie opens the door and sees a gold city in the middle of Long Beach, but is actually in a closet. Does that closet hold any answers to the True Lodge?

Seven.

Now that I finally found this review, I say something about what I thought was the best show of the series. I love that it is all coming together: Noel is finally getting put in his place, the women in the series finally hold all of the power, and meta jokes galore.

Thanks! AVC has been redeemed!

Stretch-marked ass; Ass marked stretch.

DAMMIT! First Lodge 49 and now this show’s recap has obviously been axed. Episode 3 was my all time favorite Affair, and I so wanted to chat about it.

You are correct: I am going to watch it again.

Ha ha, I spent quite a while think about how I would handle that too and I’m with you with the sink and blow dryer wash job.

But of course the maid/cook is treated like “an equal” when guests are around.

I hope that the show gets into past family life of the Roys. Those kids are so afraid of Logan, and are like puppy dogs for any amount of praise.

When you are that rich, it doesn’t matter where you are on the political spectrum, you are a shallow ass that has to hang on to certain way of thinking in order to have any identity at all. All that wealth guilt creates energy that can only be relieved through “a cause.”

I’m rooting for a 4 or 5 run. This show is Soprano level outstanding.

But as a professional drug abuser, he excels at knowing how to sniff out a drug source.

I agree with Colburn that I really enjoyed seeing Kendall happy wasted. He has been so sad and miserable, and to see him run down a hill and giggle—well, I was just happy for him.
