'The Car'. Too easy. It's a George Barris creation and is based upon a 1971 Lincoln Continental Mark III. The car is still around I hear.

That went well... (smirk)
Found it: German GP.
Locations of stranded cars: There is no standing rule on when and where a car gets removed and when it is left. Basically a car in a direct line off track in a braking zone gets moved well before a car parked at the side of the track up against a guardrail.
Just to be clear: The operators of the JCB/Kobota's have a lot of experience driving their units at job sites. Where the whole process breaks down is the 'hookers' (as we call them) whom are friends of friends of someone who come out of the wood work once a year to do this for three days. It is these people, (and the…
I didn't mean to imply you were blaming Charlie - I meant the internet seems to be doing this generally.
All race marshals world wide are volunteers. All are trained - some better then others, (depends on the country).
Your damned if you do and damned if you don't. Do you just leave the car there? I've been in that situation. The accident area may not have been an area that you can have a crane - either not level enough or not a large enough foot print to place a crane. 9 times out of 10 race cars will stuff's 5 feet past the no…
Then ITV will pick the show up and make a killing then and the public will have no more control (ranting I guess) over the show being the fact that it will now be in private hands and who won't give a fuck about what some old lady thinks or some left wing group crying over pretty much everything done on the show. Is…
FYI: I DID read your comments and they smack of revisionist bullshit about the population not being in favor of the war - yeah, after the fact when they lost...
Only when the ratings tank and that isn't in view for awhile.
The people whom live on that island are British subjects and have been since the mid 17th century. British subjects have been living continuously on the islands since 1880. The claim before that period (16th century) would actually be split evenly between France and Spain.
The cars were purchased locally and they have done the very same thing in other countries. The goal isn't seeing if three brand new cars with warranties can travel any great distance without trouble, what would be the use of that? The goal is to take tired, worn out local cars and create situations where the producers…
Political revisionism.
And then there is this guy...http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8qqz3_g…
Yeah that's what I'd tell the insurance company as well...
Turns out it was one of the new Dragons Den members on CBC TV, not the RIM guy. There were three 918's in the area around here. This car was two weeks old...
People really need to know how to use a fire bottle. There is a fire bottle at every pump island. What would have been just a clean up and maybe a few parts replaced, maybe some paintwork = is now a write off. And if you own an expensive car you should have a bottle in your car anyway.
Was... ;) It's the first one delivered in Canada. Owned by a RIM executive.
I understand that - I was reacting to the original information of it being only a broken leg, (that has since been clarified by the poster as being more serious injuries).
