Just before I met her, my wife bought a 2007 Mk6 Fiesta. Quite a good little car, really. Handles beautifully, feelsome steering, well judged control weights etc. Sadly, because she bought it for work, she bought a diesel.

I’m going to pick a Small Block Chevy as the worse engine. The 4.4L V-8 that GM built from 1979-1982. Let’s count the ways it sucked.
This is a great QOTD! The Inline 5, I think it was 3.7 litres, that was offered in the first generation Chevrolet Colorado was an embarrassment to the powertrain engineers at GM.
Pitched as offering six cylinder power and four cylinder fuel economy, it accomplished neither. It operated with all the smoothness of a…
The 1.2l, 3 cylinder “engine” in a JDM-spec second generation Nissan Note. Gutless to begin with, it was [stop me if you’ve heard this before] combined a miserable, bafflingly programmed CVT that had seemingly no relation to throttle input. Put your foot on the gas, and see what happens! Who knows, really?
I have a couple of choices:
My first choice is the 1.9L CVH engine, as equipped in the 1990 Ford Escort a friend owned. It sounded like a tumble dryer full of pennies and had all the power of a dying bee. However, since the engine was really old when I drove it someone might try to excuse its faults, like it’s a racist grandma.
“We make a joke, it was going to be a highway from nothing to nothing.”
Balkans + China has to be a great geopolitical situation.
What % of that $1,000,000,000 ended up in BVI shell companies owned by relatives of the vile, scumbag politicians and equally scumbaggy bureaucrats who signed the deal in the first place ?????
Reminds me of I-88 in NY......
The contract the country signed with China that allows China to seize land in Montenegro over unpaid debts and allows a Chinese court to have final say on the execution of the contract
Kinda sad to read this. I’ve heard and read all about the Chinese BRI... I also visited Montenegro a few years ago as a family member was stationed in Podgorica with the State Dept. What an absolutely beautiful country with amazing driving roads. My wife and I drove from Zagreb, Croatia all the way down the Adriatic…
So in an effort to keep up with the Joneses of the EU, Montenegro gave a foreign government the power to seize its land and goes immediately into crushing debt.
Be EXTREMELY careful with these!
but the inside of jeeps have that special jeep smell.
I feel like this could be bad for other surfaces and materials in the car though. Ozone is an oxidizer, that’s mostly why it’s used as a “cleaner” of sorts, but I feel like having a large concentration of oxidizer in your vehicle is just asking to somehow weather interior parts in a way you don’t want, like UV…
Ozone in the stratosphere = good
Also most plastics and kind of everything....including your lungs if you breath too much in. It’s good for our atmosphere, not much else.
Another reason not to overuse the ozone generator is that ozone rapidly erodes soft synthetics like rubber seals.
