I've heard the v10 in the Viper at the track and it did not sound anemic or dead. It sounded like a 8+ litres of american muscle. Yes, it did not sound italian or german, but it went like stink and sounded pretty sweet. Coming from someone who prefers flat 6 engines, I think that says a lot.
