I will probably never purchase a new car in my life, but if I were, this could be pretty high on my list. All of the “first drive” articles I’ve read are very positive, but nobody has test numbers yet, and I want to know. I agree that good numbers do not necessarily make a good car, but I want to know how this stacks

At the risk of referring to ethno-national stereotypes, the “Italian tune-up” is a thing. I’m not Italian, but I’m happy to perform one of those on anything that needs it.

Though usually, I don’t necessarily begrudge them their foolishness. In this case, however, anyone voting NP clearly likes to wear their asshole on their sleeve. Yes, I am judging.

This is the sort of vehicle that makes for a tough debate sometimes, in that, no, no sane person wants to purchase this to drive around for 20k, but as likely the only one in the US, this oddity might easily find its way into a mu...

Ditch the fix-a-flat. It’s also known as ruin-a-tire and will only slow you down. Go for a plug kit and a portable compressor and you will be in much better shape. I’d add emery cloth and aluminum foil for cleaning and improving electrical connections. A funnel. A big crescent wrench to use as a hammer, prybar, or

It’s very different than caffeine yes, but you are still generalizing too much. Caffeine is pretty benign, true, but even there I bet if your wife had two extra cups you’d definitely notice, so it’s not just the type of substance but the quantity. likewise I bet you couldn’t tell the difference if somebody went to the

So you are offended by the way these people smell. I see.

I’d echo what others have said about the efforts to control the study, in that the data and conclusions don’t seem to be utter BS, but might be more telling if the rates were compared per miles driven rather than vehicle registrations. Given that there is no causal link proposed, one should also be cautious in jumping

WTF, caffeine absolutely has a psychoactive effect. If it didn’t, nobody would use it. I guess, because cocaine is a stimulant, it doesn’t have a psychoactive effect either? I agree that the psychoactive effects of caffeine are profoundly different than the psychoactive effects of alcohol, but then so are the

I’m so sorry I am only allowed to bestow one star.

So what I want to know is what’s really bothering you. What makes you so sure are you that these people were high? I mean there’s a ton of discussion here about just how difficult that is to prove, and “how high” is even more problematic. What was bothering you about these people and their behavior? Feel like your not

You make the best point yet, but I still think they should improve the field test instead—like maybe you have to play a video game or some other task that is more similar to actually driving. Make the citation be for failing that test. How alcohol impairs driving ability is very well known, but even then not everyone

That might be convenient, but I don’t think it works that way. Wanting weed to be like alcohol won’t make it so.

Yes, but it need not have anything to do with the presence or absence of any substance in the system. Drivers that should not be behind the wheel should face something like an improved version of the “field sobriety test” drivers already take. Like dude, if you can’t touch your nose with your finger or balance on one

Until they do break, which will happen eventually. A friend of mine who has many hours repairing all manner of European cars professionally, when he truly hates something, he “hates it like a Saab.” I mean, I’d buy this, but I might be sorry.

Velveeta is good, aerosol cheese is better.

I’m definitely allergic to it.

Uh, I was just there and got the real deal, toy on the inside where it belongs.

You "honestly never see them"? Maybe you should check your mirrors.
