No, but it can be blamed on a brand 'revival' that started nearly 10 years earlier. GM decided to spice up their luxury offering, while Ford went for their bread & butter cars.

Beautiful car. The front-end is polarising, it's a yes or no, but the car stands out. It's obvious for me I like the front, others won't. But it's a car that will be noticed on the street. I've seen my first ATS today in the local Cadillac/GMC/Buick dealer's lot. It was beside a CTS, both black. My father mistook it

RWD sporty luxury ain't a market. Most peoples buying those car goes for the look, the dealer experience, image, etc the vehicle have.

I was sarcastic haha! 90% of the buyers of those cars won't even bother knowing if it's RWD, AWD or FWD.

No it ain't the problem. You know that to be a success, the car HAS to be RWD. That's the only thing that can save Lincoln you know. Just remember how Jalopnik's commenter saved Pontiac by buying G8s.

Your G8 is due to be traded?

Yeah, to cash-in on the massive G8 success.

Remember, it can't be a success, because it ain't Falcon-based. Because so many people on here bought G8s.

They'll maybe start selling some. I've only seen one or two since they were released. Local dealer have the same first 4 they received still on the lot.

Exactly. Also notes that the Interceptor is in production since a while. The MKZ's one ain't ramped up yet, lots of dealers haven't received any yet.

Exactly, so they did a Lincoln that's only sharing it's basic underpinning with a Ford.

Instead of bashing on a brand who's only in the baby steps of their revival, take the time to learn the facts and realise the production ain't fully ramped up. Heck, local Lincoln dealer haven't received one yet and they're the largest in the Maritimes Provinces!

Looks good!

Nice! They have about 10 Interceptor parked on a big hill behind the garage waiting to be striped. I should try to get a picture tommorow!

The Corvette was quite cool, being a Corvette and the American Sport car and blabla.

I'm in Moncton, NB where the local Ford dealership is the Atlantic outfitter for the RCMP. They're all going toward the Interceptor, and they're supposed to start phasing out the Tahoe/Suburban for Explorers.
